The name Native Genetics is born from Native (Indigenous) people, Native land, Native plants, Native DNA.
A collective of experienced professionals across various industries globally to form a platform for us,
to collectively engage, support and participate in the health and well-being of our Native Genetic community members.
Native Genetics works to improve the efficacy and promote advocacy for plant medicines as an alternative healthcare treatment.
We consider Native people the custodians of our Native plants and land. We see their inclusion and upliftment as a quintessential driver for the development of Africa as a global leader in alternative healthcare practices.
We seek to bring our communities closer to our Native Genetics members in a way that allows for shared growth and alignment, through developmental & inclusive engagement practices.

The name represents the environment and the people that have been farming & working with these plants, through a process of trial and error for hundreds of years, to sustain themselves and their surrounding environment. With very little support in the form of basic infrastructure, running water, electricity, health care, housing, roads, food, formal employment, and this list goes on.
The name pays homage to those ethical & principled Traditional healers, health practitioners and native communities.
Native people and lands to this day receive very little recognition or benefit for the many ways in which they have contributed to the improvement of plant medicines and health care as we know it today.
As a market we now benefit from having access to these medicines and plants, in a form which is analysed, graded, packaged and ready for consumption.
Companies and markets benefit significantly from these plants, whilst Native people continue to be excluded from society and benefit for the work they continue to do to support us.
